Project Examples
Interactive Facial Expression Recognition Project
Built an interactive multimedia system using a developer’s edition of the Intel RealSense 3D camera and facial recognition APIs to detect facial expressions and moods and play corresponding music as part of an interactive media system for an Extended Media II course.
Collaborative Causal Loop Diagram Builder
Created a collaborative simulation model diagram designing system built on top of the Google RealTime API for a Project Design and Implementation course (in progress-completion April 2016).
Virtual Pantry Web Application
Designed and developed a virtual pantry system that allows the user to keep track of groceries they have by scanning barcodes on grocery items with a Bluetooth scanner as part of a Graphical User Interface design course.
Work Experience
Web Designer (2008 – present)
Creating web sites for small businesses and organizations. Originally created sites using Dreamweaver, combined with manually coded HTML and CSS, and more recently have moved to WordPress as a Content Management System.
Lifeguard & Swimming Instructor (2011 – present)
PSP, Wing 17 Detachment Dundurn, SK
Taught children how to swim, led exercises for military personnel, and performed administrative work as the Head Lifeguard.
Elections Worker (May 2011 – August 2015)
Government of Canada and Government of Saskatchewan
Worked at federal and provincial elections as a Registration Officer, Data Entry Clerk, Enumerator, and was chosen to be featured as part of the election worker training video.
